# ProgramEarth

> ProgramEarth is a nonprofit community of developers, companies, and conservationists building open-source software for reforestation and land restoration — with a goal of 30 million acres by 2030.

ProgramEarth runs hackathons, AI Days, and remote sprints that pair volunteer technologists with conservation partners across the US, India, and Brazil. The tools, datasets, and dashboards built through the program are released under permissive open-source licenses.
